Birchwood Tennis & Fitness Club's fitness and wellness center hosts a wide range of group cardio and strength training classes that are fun, energetic, and suitable for most fitness levels. Class schedules are subject to change on a monthly basis. Group class participants are asked to arrive at the fitness and wellness center approximately 15 minutes prior to the class start time. Bootcamp - A high-intensity class combining sport drills, plyometrics, running, and total body weight lifting. Can be modified for all levels.Cardio Core & More - A lower impact mixed cardio class combined with weights, balls, bands, for complete body workout. All levels Cardio KickBOx - Get your kicks with a high intensity workout using kick boxing, boxing, and boot camp style exercises. Can be modified to low-impact. CARDIO-TENNIS EXPRESS - Get a sample of the smash hit "cardio tennis" over at the tennis center. This is a free 45 min. class that will leave you feeling energized all day long. Challenge Chair/Malibu Pilates Chair - Class is performed on Malibu Pilates Chair. Total body core, strength, and flexibility. All levels. Please sign up at front desk. May include weights. Cycle - A no-impact workout that is safe and effective for all levels. Please tell instructor before class if you are new. HardCore Training - Core training and body weight strength class that will target every muscle, but concentrating on the abs. May include some weights, balls, bands. All levels Pilates - An effective class targeting the total body using the Pilates Mat method. Please tell instructor if you are new. All levels. Silver Sneakers - A class designed to strengthen seniors through activities of daily living, bands, balls, and light weights. Open to all. SPIN-tensity - Combination class of spin intervals and body/core conditioning intervals for maximum fat-burning. Can be modified. Yoga - Improve flexibility, balance, and total body strength through poses that flow easily to melt away tension in the body and mind. Yoga-Stretch - Start your day with an express class designed to elongate and strengthen your muscles and core for the day. ZUMBA - Latin dance style class that doesn’t even feel like a workout! Lots of fun combined with cardio and light weights. Appropriate for all levels.
